Description: We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Operator to join our team in Garland, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Responsibilities: Set up and prepare CNC machines for production runs according to job orders and specifications. Load tools, fixtures, and materials to ensure efficient machining operations. Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. Monitor machine performance and make tool offsets or changes as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues or improvements. Qualifications: Years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, or both). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.). Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, or similar). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
