Warehouse Clerk – Shipping & Receiving Specialist
Location: Sealy, TX
Starting Pay: $19.00/hr

Are you a highly organized warehouse professional with a talent for accuracy and inventory management? We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Clerk to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that every shipment meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving: Prepare all outgoing shipments and verify the quality and count of all incoming goods.

Documentation: Prepare bills of lading and dray tickets, while carefully maintaining records for returned goods and returnable pallets.

Discrepancy Reporting: Immediately identify and report any count differences or damage claims to supervisors and carriers per company policy.

Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts and maintain a database of shipment data to ensure accurate customer billing.

Material Movement: Load trucks using a forklift and transport materials across the shipping dock using hand trucks or other vehicles.

Quality Control: Monitor your own work to ensure all items loaded or unloaded match supplier counts and engineering specifications.
What We’re Looking For

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory management software.

Industry Knowledge: A basic understanding of railway, dock, and warehouse procedures.

Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to accurately sort, count, and verify large volumes of inventory.

Reliability: A commitment to consistent attendance, punctuality, and taking responsibility for assigned tasks.

Safety Mindset: Ability to properly use equipment and materials while observing all safety and security procedures.
Physical Requirements

Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods in a manufacturing work environment.

Dexterity: Ability to utilize hand and finger dexterity to operate equipment and input data.

Agility: Comfortable with climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, and working near moving mechanical parts.

Environment: Ability to work in conditions that may include exposure to outside weather or wet/humid conditions.
