Shipping & Logistics Associate – Industrial Manufacturing

Are you an experienced shipping professional looking to work in a high-tech, safety-first manufacturing environment? Core Personnel is seeking a dependable Shipping Associate to join an elite production team in Katy. This role goes beyond basic warehouse work, involving the handling of large-scale industrial enclosures and specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Shipping Preparation: Prepare finished industrial products for shipment by wrapping, packaging, and staging materials according to strict requirements.

• Specialized Material Handling: Use overhead cranes and authorized power equipment to safely transport large enclosures and materials to assigned work areas.

• Inbound/Outbound Logistics: Unload received materials and move them to designated production cells or storage locations.

• Inventory Integrity: Perform order fulfillment and cycle counts; identify and report any inventory discrepancies through established channels.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and company box trucks.

• Safety & Organization: Maintain a workspace that meets 6S standards and strictly follow all PPE and safety compliance protocols.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: At least 1 year of professional shipping experience (2+ years preferred).

• Technical Skill: Proven ability to operate power lifting equipment. Experience with overhead cranes is a significant plus.

• Communication: Proficiency in English (oral and written) with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Reliability: A "full effort"mindset with a track record of excellent attendance and personal commitment.

• Physicality: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs consistently.

• Travel: Ability to travel (domestic/international) up to 5% if required by business needs.
