Job Title: Resin Operator (Chemical Mixing & Blending)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: First Shift
Location: Humble, TX 77338
We are seeking an experienced Resin Operator with a strong background in chemical mixing and blending, specifically involving hazardous chemicals. The ideal candidate will understand industrial chemical processes, follow strict quality and safety standards, and be able to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Accurately measure, mix, and blend resins and chemical formulations
Safely handle hazardous chemicals and substances in a controlled manufacturing setting
Follow batch sheets, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
Monitor process conditions and product quality throughout mixing operations
Operate, maintain, and clean mixing and blending equipment
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, SDS)
Maintain accurate documentation of production and quality records
Assist quality and production teams with troubleshooting and process improvements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in chemical mixing, blending, or resin handling
Experience working with hazardous chemicals in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper use of PPE
Ability to read and interpret batch sheets, SDS, and technical documentation
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks
High school diploma or GED
Preferred / Helpful Skills
Previous experience in composites, coatings, polymers, or similar industries
Forklift certification or experience (if applicable)
Prior work in quality-driven environments
Working Conditions
Manufacturing floor environment
Exposure to chemicals, odors, and standard industrial conditions
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
