Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a background in food manufacturing? We are seeking a dedicated QA Manager to lead food safety and quality programs for a premier manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who excels in SQF standards, regulatory compliance, and process improvement.
Core Responsibilities

Program Leadership: Manage and improve plant-wide food safety and quality systems, including SQF documentation, verification, and validation.

Regulatory Compliance: Lead preparations for all outside audits (Regulatory, Customer, and 3rd Party) and ensure full USDA/FDA compliance.

Team Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of all Quality personnel and provide hands-on technical support to Operations and Warehousing.

Product Development: Manage formula creation, specification writing, and nutritional analysis within the ERP system (AX).

Operational Oversight: Supervise material shipping/receiving (COA/LOG) and manage facility sanitation and micro-testing programs.
Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 6–8 years of related Quality experience, preferably within food manufacturing or R&D.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Certifications: Must be an SQF Practitioner and HACCP Certified .

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and record-keeping.

Leadership: Proven history in project leadership and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
