Description:
Position Summary
We are seeking a Production Operator to support manufacturing operations in a production environment. This role is responsible for operating filament winding equipment, handling raw materials, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
Load, unload, and stage raw materials, fibers, resins, and finished products
Prepare materials for production, including measuring, cutting, and labeling
Monitor machine operation and report defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns
Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine cleaning
Operate crane and forklift as needed.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications
Maintain accurate production and material handling records
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
Assist with general housekeeping and organization of the production area
Support other manufacturing tasks as assigned
Work Environment
Manufacturing/industrial setting
Exposure to machinery, noise, weather conditions, and production materials
Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
