Job Position: Picking / Packing
Location: Terrell, TX 75160
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr
Shift:5;30am-6pm Monday-Thursday
Description:Summary:
The Fulfillment Packer is responsible for accurately and efficiently packing customer orders in preparation for
shipping. Working in the fulfillment department, this role involves handling various types of merchandise,
following packing procedures, and ensuring all orders meet quality and safety standards. Packers may work in
cold or freezer environments depending on the product type.
Key Responsibilities:
Pack customer orders according to company standards and shipping guidelines
Verify product accuracy, quality, and quantity before packing
Label, seal, and organize packed items for shipment or delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area
Follow proper handling procedures, especially when working with refrigerated or frozen products
Report damaged or incorrect items to supervisors immediately
Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals
Any task assign by leadership
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry boxes and materials weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive hand movements required
Ability to operate packing tools and equipment (e.g., tape dispensers, box cutters, label printers)
Work Environment:
May involve standing near conveyor belts, pallet jacks, or other moving equipment
Noise levels may vary and include machinery, packaging tape, and team communication
Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and required as necessary
Work in temperature-controlled areas between -10°F to 65°F
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment setting is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Basic knowledge of packing, labeling, and shipping processes
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
