Description: As a Picker/Packer for a distribution center, you are the heartbeat of our fulfillment process. Your primary goal is to ensure that every order is handled with precision, speed, and care, ensuring our clients’ products reach their customers in perfect condition. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in "getting it right"every time.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking: Locate and pull products from warehouse shelves using handheld RF scanners or paper pick sheets.
Quality Control: Inspect items for damage or defects during the picking process to ensure only top-quality goods are shipped.
Packing & Kitting: Securely pack products into boxes or mailers, ensuring proper cushioning and presentation. Some roles may involve "kitting"(assembling multiple components into a single unit).
Labeling & Documentation: Generate shipping labels and ensure all packing slips and promotional inserts are included as required by the specific client.
Inventory Maintenance: Assist in replenishing stock, performing cycle counts, and keeping the workspace clean and organized to maintain safety standards.
