Description: Office Janitorial / Custodian – Airport Area (IAH)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Janitor/Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation for office spaces located in the airport area (IAH). This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and professional environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain office spaces, including work areas, break rooms, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
Clean glass surfaces, windows, and doors
Maintain cleanliness in hallways, entryways, and high-traffic areas
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
Follow all safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Qualifications
Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to handle changing cleaning priorities
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25–30 lbs
Comfortable working indoors and occasionally in varying conditions
Work Environment
Office and administrative areas within the airport vicinity
Moderate noise levels
Must follow all site-specific safety and security protocols
Additional Requirements
Must be able to pass background check required for airport access
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
