Job Position: Metal Facility-2nd Shift Loader
Location: WYLIE, TX 75098
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift 6pm-6am
Description: Job Summary
The Loader-Crane is an essential role within the material handling and extrusion departments. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of aluminum extrusions, raw materials, and finished goods throughout the facility using overhead cranes and loading equipment. This role ensures that production lines remain supplied and that finished products are safely staged for the aging ovens or shipping.

Loading/Unloading: Load and unload aluminum extrusions into aging ovens, onto staging racks, or onto transport vehicles as directed by production schedules.

Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of material movement and assist in entering product information into the EPICS (Extrusion Software) system.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior experience operating cranes, forklifts, or heavy machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Deep understanding of industrial safety protocols, including load weight management and overhead hazard awareness.

Technical Aptitude: Basic computer skills for production data entry and the ability to read simple blueprints or measurement tools.

Strength: Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs consistently throughout the shift.

Agility: Frequent climbing, bending, and reaching to secure rigging and navigate the production floor.
