Job Position: Maintenance Tech
Location: Humble, TX 77338
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Shift: Will train on 1st shift but needs to be flexible to work 12 hrs shifts and maybe even night shift
Description: OVERVIEW:
The primary purpose of the Maintenance Tech II is to ensure the facility and machinery are efficiently
maintained to optimize production.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform building maintenance and repairs as needed
Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment (motors, vfd drives, servo drives and servo motors)
Some mechanical abilities would be required
Complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks
Work with Mechanical maintenance to quickly and efficiently solve problems
As part of the Maintenance Department maintain a safe and efficient workplace
Complete all work orders and preventive maintenance as required
Adhere to all related paperwork and database entries for efficient process flow
Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements including ability to fit test and wear a half mask
respirator
Assist the Engineering Department in the research, trial/development, selection of new processes and
equipment to improve the production process
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Comply with all Company Safety rules, Provincial and Federal Rules and Regulations
Effectively communicate with production department on a daily basis for equipment condition and
repair status
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations including the Canada and Ontario electrical codes.

TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS:
College Diploma preferred
Industrial Electrician Trade Certification
Electrical voltages 480/3/AC, 230/3/AC, 110/1/AC, 24DC, 12/DC
Experience and able to electrical trouble shooting tools
o Digital/Analog voltmeter
o IR gun
o MEG Tools
3+ years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance and / or machine building
Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience and asset
Experience in troubleshooting automated equipment
HVAC experience an asset
Basic understanding of mechanical and power transmission systems
Siemens PLC experience an asset
Servo Drives and motors experience
Working at Heights Certificate
Forklift/ Lift Truck Certificate
Overhead Crane Certificate an asset

Hot & humid areas within the plant
Physically demanding tasks
Interaction with heavy machinery, moving equipment and limited movement of chemicals within the
production area
