Job Position: Quality Technician
Location: SEALY, TX 77474
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Quality Technician to perform testing and inspection of dry mortar products and ensure all materials meet company and industry specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality tests on dry mortar products, including:
Compressive strength
Flow
Set time
Receive and inspect raw materials such as sand and cement.
Make formula adjustments to maintain products within required specifications.
Accurately document test results and communicate any out-of-spec issues to supervisors or production teams.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing procedures.
Basic understanding of material testing or willingness to be trained.
Ability to work safely and follow established protocols.
Reliable and punctual.
