Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20 DOE

Description: Job Description: Operations & Quality Control Specialist
We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations & Quality Control Specialist to join our team. In this hybrid role, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality for our marine products and driving operational efficiency. This position requires a blend of hands-on work in our fabrication shop and strategic planning in the office.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Compliance: Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality control of our marine products, with a strong emphasis on DOT compliance. You'll conduct inspections and implement processes to meet and exceed regulatory standards.

Process Improvement: You will play a key role in designing and implementing new fabrication layouts and processes to enhance efficiency and safety.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): You will support the development of and contribute to creating SOPs for manufacturing and quality processes.

Bill of Materials (BOM): You will use your knowledge and experience to create and manage a Bill of Materials (BOM) based on our cost standards.

Cost Analysis & Quoting: You will assist in calculating manufacturing costs for items and help with quoting new projects. You will also analyze current operations and propose cost-saving improvements.

ERP Software: You'll use your experience with ERP software to manage inventory, track production, and maintain accurate data.

Advanced Excel Skills: You'll use advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process modeling.

Qualifications
Experience: A background in manufacturing, operations, or industrial engineering is preferred.

ERP Proficiency: You should have experience using ERP software.

Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills are a must.

Work Environment: The ability to work effectively in both an office and fabrication shop environment.

Personal Attributes: You must be a quick learner with excellent attention to detail.
