Job Position: IT Systems Administrator

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr (DOE)
Description: IT Systems Administrator (React / Firebase Environment)
A growing beverage manufacturing and co-packing company is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage and support a custom-built production management dashboard built with React/TypeScript and Firebase. This role will be responsible for maintaining system performance, enforcing security best practices, managing user access, and ensuring reliable operation of plant-critical digital systems.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain a web-based production management system (React/TypeScript, Firebase/Firestore).
Manage user accounts, role-based access control (RBAC), and system permissions.
Strengthen system security including Firestore rules, API key management, and application monitoring.
Maintain cloud infrastructure, backups, and uptime for production operations.
Monitor performance, error logs, and system activity.
Train plant staff and department teams on system usage.
Support data management, reporting, and compliance documentation.
Assist with the transition of paper-based processes into digital workflows.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system users.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in IT systems administration or web application management.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Firebase, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of modern web applications (React, TypeScript, or similar frameworks).
Experience with user management, RBAC, and application security practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to train non-technical users.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
Preferred
Experience with Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Hosting).
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git version control, and monitoring tools.
Background in manufacturing or regulated industries is a plus.
Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript/TypeScript or Bash).
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Salary: $55,000 – $75,000 depending on experience.
