Job Position: General Labor/Supervisor
Location: Houston, TX 77018
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: 6:00 am - 5:00 pm
Description: Supervise the entire warehouse operation, from receiving goods to storing them and dispatching orders to customers.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of all inventory, optimize storage utilization, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise warehouse staff, assigning tasks, coordinating shift rotas, and ensuring productivity and discipline.
Safety & Security: Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct health and safety checks, and ensure a secure environment for both staff and inventory.
Logistics Coordination: Work with transportation companies and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and pickups, managing the flow of goods and logistics.
Equipment & Resource Management: Ensure the safe and efficient use of warehouse equipment, and potentially oversee the management of warehouse vehicles.
Reporting & Administration: Prepare operational reports, manage departmental budgets, and handle administrative functions related to warehouse operations
