Field Operations Manager Summary
The Field Operations Manager is responsible for all field maintenance and beautification within the district. This includes supervising crews, coordinating projects, managing public space maintenance contracts, and resolving service issues (e.g., 311-style). This role is vital for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and visual appeal of public spaces.
Field Operations Manager Key Responsibilities
-Supervise field crews and manage contracts for landscaping, litter, graffiti, and minor repairs across the district.
-Conduct daily site inspections for maintenance, safety, and beautification.
-Resolve issues reported via the 311 system and coordinate with City departments.
-Oversee routine tasks (trash, weeds, graffiti, seasonal projects).
-Maintain records of work, inspections, equipment, and inventory.
-Ensure safety compliance and operate/maintain tools and vehicles.
Field Operations Manager Qualifications
-Preferred: College degree or relevant experience.
-Excel proficiency and quick adoption of a Salesforce-based CRM.
-Proven ability to independently lead and coordinate field operations.
-Knowledge of public infrastructure maintenance, surface materials, and safety protocols.
-Proficient in digital mapping, reporting, and communication tools.
-Excellent organization and attention to detail.
-Able to perform moderate-to- heavy physical work in diverse weather.
Licenses & Requirements
-Valid Texas Driver’s License with clean driving record.
-Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
