Event Production Crew: Arena Transformation Team (Austin, TX)

Pay Rate: $18.25/hr

Location: Cedar Park, 78613

Shift Types: 1st, 2nd, & Overnights (Flexible 4–10 hour shifts)

Ever wondered how a hockey rink becomes a concert stage overnight?

Join the team that makes the magic happen! We are currently hiring Leads, General Laborers, and Forklift Drivers to support one of Austin’s premier entertainment venues—the home of the Texas Stars and Austin Spurs . If you thrive in high-energy environments and love seeing a project through from start to finish, this is the job for you.

Why Join the Team?

  • The Best Seat in the House: Work behind the scenes of professional hockey games, Spurs basketball, and major touring concerts.

  • Stay Active: Skip the gym—you’ll be moving, building, and staying active in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexible Scheduling: With morning, evening, and overnight shifts available, we can help you find a schedule that fits your life.

  • Career Growth: Start as a laborer and show us your hustle—we are actively looking for reliable Leads to head up our crews.

Open Roles

1. General Laborers (The Engine)

You are the backbone of the event. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Converting the arena floor from ice/court to concert seating.

  • Setting up layouts, including chairs, tables, and barricades.

  • Assisting with overall event logistics and teardowns.

2. Forklift Drivers (The Muscle)

Precision and safety are key. You will:

  • Safely operate forklifts to move heavy materials and staging equipment.

  • Load and unload trucks under tight production deadlines.

  • Assist the floor crew with large-scale material handling.

3. Crew Leads (The Brains)

Help us keep the wheels turning. You will:

  • Supervise a crew of 5–15 laborers to ensure tasks are done safely and on time.

  • Coordinate directly with venue management on setup layouts.

  • Maintain a high standard of workflow and safety on the floor.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull 50–75+ lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of your shift.

  • Reliability: You’re a "show up early"type of person. Punctuality is vital in the event world.

  • Flexibility: Events happen at all hours—availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is a major plus.

  • Safety First: A commitment to following directions and keeping the work environment safe for everyone.

  • Experience: While not required, a background in warehouse, construction, or event setup is a huge advantage.
