MIG Welder
Pay:$20–$25/hr depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (4-day work week)
Friday:
On-call only. Employees will be notified by Tuesday if Friday work is required.
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join a growing manufacturing team that specializes in producing high-quality metal components and fabricated products for industrial applications. Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and 5% stainless steel materials.

Set up and operate welding equipment independently.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.

Assemble and fabricate metal components according to specifications.

Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.

Identify and correct common weld issues such as excessive heat, insufficient heat, lack of fusion, and undercut.

Operate welding equipment and other fabrication tools safely.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.

Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications

Previous MIG welding experience required.

Strong working knowledge of the GMAW process.

Ability to set up your own welding machine and make appropriate adjustments as needed.

Experience identifying weld quality issues such as too hot, too cold, lack of fusion, and undercut.

Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel preferred.

Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

In-person interview (following successful completion of the weld test).
During the weld test, candidates should be prepared to demonstrate the ability to set up their own machine, understand proper heat control, and identify weld defects such as lack of fusion and undercut.
