Warehouse Worker – Recycling Associate

📍 Location: Houston, TX 77043
💰 Pay Rate:$15.00/hour
⏰ Shift: 1:30 PM–10:00 PM, Monday–Friday; Saturdays as needed

Position Summary

We are currently hiring Warehouse Workers/Recycling Associates to support daily recycling and material-handling operations. This position involves sorting recyclable materials, removing contaminants, maintaining a clean work area, and following all required safety procedures in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Manually sort paper, plastic, glass, and metal from conveyor belts.

• Remove non-recyclable materials and contaminants, including hoses, food waste, and other prohibited items.

• Operate equipment such as balers, compactors, and shredders.

• Operate a forklift when assigned and properly trained.

• Sweep, rake, and remove debris from work areas.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Follow all company and safety procedures.

• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Perform other warehouse and recycling duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous warehouse, recycling, or material-handling experience is a plus.

• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift and move 30–50 pounds regularly.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.

Working Conditions

• Loud, dusty, and industrial work environment.

• Exposure to varying temperatures and odors.

• Work may involve exposure to sharp objects and other recyclable materials.

• Repetitive-motion activities may be required.

• Ability to work scheduled weekends, Saturdays as needed, and occasional holidays when required.
