About the Opportunity

Core Personnel Staffing is hiring an experienced Warehouse Manager for our client, a leading personalized products manufacturer and e-commerce brand in Plano, TX. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a safe, accurate, high-volume warehouse operation, builds strong teams, and is just as comfortable in SAP and Excel as on the warehouse floor. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, especially through peak season, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping

  • Lead, schedule, train, and develop warehouse supervisors, leads, and associates; set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to productivity and quality goals

  • Champion a safety-first culture: enforce safety rules and PPE requirements, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and keep all safety certifications and training records current

  • Make sure every customer is served quickly, accurately, and professionally

  • Own warehouse administrative functions such as daily manifest receipts, training documentation, equipment certifications, and compliance records

  • Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and root-cause analysis of discrepancies

  • Use SAP to manage inventory, transactions, and warehouse reporting

  • Build and maintain Excel reports and dashboards to track KPIs, labor, throughput, and inventory, and use the data to drive decisions

  • Plan labor and resources for volume swings, including peak-season staffing and overtime

  • Make sure forklifts, box trucks, scissor lifts, and other equipment are operated safely and maintained, and that operators are properly certified

  • Work with production, quality, transportation, and leadership teams to resolve issues and improve processes

  • Find and carry out continuous-improvement opportunities to raise efficiency, accuracy, and cost control

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5+ years of warehouse leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role

  • Hands-on knowledge of all warehouse functions and the ability to step in and perform any lower-level task

  • Required: SAP experience

  • Advanced Excel skills, including:

    • Building and troubleshooting complex nested formulas

    • Advanced pivot tables (calculated fields, external data connections)

    • Data types and text/number conversions

    • Tracing precedents/dependents and correcting formula errors

    • What-If analysis and using the macro recorder

    • Good spreadsheet design (consistent formulas, no embedded constants)

  • Strong math and analytical skills

  • Certified, or able to get certified, on forklift, box truck, scissor lift, and other warehouse equipment

  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and keep morale up in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Flexibility to work early mornings (5:00 AM start), extended hours, and up to 7 days a week during peak season

Preferred

  • Experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, or high-volume fulfillment

  • Lean, 5S, or other continuous-improvement experience

  • OSHA safety training or certification

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [50] lbs throughout the shift

  • Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
