Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately filling customer orders, pulling and transferring materials, loading and unloading trucks, and operating warehouse equipment safely. This role requires experience working with structural steel, pipe, and plate steel in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Pull and fill customer orders using pick tickets

Verify material size, grade, quantity, and heat numbers

Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks

Pull materials for transfers
-
Cut steel materials using saws, shears, iron workers, and burning tables

Complete paperwork, labels, and equipment inspection reports

Operate forklifts and cranes to move materials

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
5 Years Warehouse Experience
-
Previous experience with structural steel, pipe, and plate steel

Forklift and Machine Operator experience preferred

Ability to read pick tickets and use measuring devices such as tape measures and micrometers

Basic math and communication skills
-
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening

Must be able to stand, lift, climb, and perform physical warehouse duties
