Pay Rate: $15.50/hr

Shift: 1pm-9:30pm

Description: Manufacturing Associate (SMC)
The Manufacturing Associate is an entry-level position responsible for performing essential manufacturing tasks to ensure the production of high-quality finished goods and components. This role is focused on following standard operating procedures, maintaining a safe workspace, and contributing to the team's efficiency.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
Production & Assembly:

Manufacture parts and components in accordance with detailed specifications, written instructions, and quality standards.

Perform operations sequencing as directed by the Manufacturing Manager or Shift Supervisor.

Assist in setting up and operating machinery and tooling as trained.

Quality & Inspection:

Conduct basic in-process visual inspections to ensure continuous piece and process quality conformance.

Verify finished parts meet established requirements before moving to the next stage.

Safety & Compliance:

Strictly follow all departmental safety rules and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Maintain excellent 5S standards and good housekeeping practices in the assigned work area.

Adhere to all company policies, including attendance, uniform compliance, and clocking procedures.

Teamwork & Training:

Participate fully in all required training, including new employee orientation, safety training, and specific training on materials and quality standards.

Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals and ensure smooth shift changeover.

Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or process issues immediately to the Supervisor.

Knowledge & Skills
Ability to read, understand, and follow written assembly instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Basic understanding of and commitment to safety practices in a manufacturing environment.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Training Requirements (Provided by the Company)
Departmental safety rules.

Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Relevant ISO sections pertaining to the position.

Bill of materials and quality specification sheets.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and walk (up to continuously); bend/stoop, twist neck and torso (frequently); reach, hold, grasp, push, pull, lift/carry raw material, finished product, tools, and machinery up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally; use seeing, hearing, and speaking abilities.

Working Conditions: Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
