Job Position: Sit Down/Stand Up Forklift Operator
Location: Rockwall, TX 75087
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Shift: 6AM-6PM Rotating Schedule
Description: Oversee and manage order processing and shipping to ensure products are delivered on time, meeting customer needs and adhering to shipping regulations.
Generate necessary product labels, shipping documents, and hazmat information for production and operations promptly.
Prepare all shipping documentation.
Schedule outbound freight with freight forwarders and trucking companies.
Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations set by relevant agencies.
Act as a liaison between customers, order entry personnel, and manufacturing/operations regarding order shipments.
Pack, stage, and load outgoing orders and materials onto trucks and containers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stage materials throughout the warehouse. Supports the shipping and receiving department by ensuring products and materials are accurately handled and prepared for shipment.
Job Duties:
Operate forklifts safely to load and unload trucks and trailers.
Move and stage pallets, materials, and finished products throughout the warehouse.
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and proper quantities.
Prepare products for shipment and ensure items are properly labeled and staged.
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials.
Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Communicate with shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely movement of materials.
Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues or safety concerns.
Meet productivity, accuracy, and attendance expectations.
