Compensation: $16.00 – $25.00 / Hour (Determined by experience & technical interview)
Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday – Friday)

Position Overview
Are you skilled in micro-soldering, SMT component rework, or electronic board repair? Core Personnel Staffing Services is actively recruiting detail-oriented Server PCB Repair Technicians for an advanced electronics manufacturing facility in El Paso, TX.
This role focuses on daily server mainboard troubleshooting, board-level rework, and precision repair. Have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in SMT or micro-soldering? Key Responsibilities

SMT & Micro-Soldering Rework: Execute precision micro-soldering, fine-pitch component replacement, and surface-mount technology (SMT) rework on complex server mainboards.

Component & Board Troubleshooting: Perform root-cause failure analysis, short-circuit detection, and signal tracing on defective circuit boards.

Diagnostic Equipment Usage: Utilize oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, diagnostic fixtures, and schematics to isolate hardware faults and verify repairs.

Quality Logging & Standards: Maintain accurate records of board repairs, yield results, and test outcomes per standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Engineering Support: Partner with quality control and test engineering departments to address repeat component failures and refine repair workflows.
Requirements & Qualifications

Core Skillset: At least 1 year of practical experience in SMT rework, micro-soldering, or component-level PCB repair/troubleshooting.

Open to Skills Enhancement: Willingness to learn advanced server motherboard repair techniques through on-the-job mentorship.

Technical Reading: Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, circuit layouts, and component spec sheets.

Visual Acuity & Precision: Excellent hand-eye coordination and high visual acuity for working under microscopes/magnifiers.

Preferred Bonus Certifications: Active or past IPC-A-610 or IPC-7711/7721 certifications are a major plus (not required).

Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree or technical certificate in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering is preferred.
