Senior Garage Door Service & Sales Technician (Field Manager Track)

Commission-based, with $1,000/week guaranteed for your first 4–6 weeks · $95,000–$115,000+ OTE
Schedule:
Flexible rotating schedule between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, including one weekend day
Are you the tech everyone else calls when they get stuck? Core Personnel Staffing is hiring experienced garage door technicians for a fast-growing DFW company. Our client wants techs who can diagnose anything, sell the right fix, and eventually train its next generation of techs.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose and repair residential and commercial garage doors, springs, tracks, openers, and access controls

Run multi-point safety inspections and explain clearly to customers what’s wrong and why

Quote and close repairs, rebuild packages, premium openers, and full door replacements

Take payment and complete digital paperwork on a tablet before leaving the job

Keep a clean, safe, fully stocked truck

As you grow: coach newer techs on ride-alongs, step in on tough calls, audit job quality, and lead field training
Compensation & Benefits

This is a commission-based role. You’ll earn $1,000/week guaranteed for your first 4–6 weeks while you ramp up. During that time you’re paid the guarantee or your commissions, whichever is higher.

16–19% commission per ticket, up to 20% for experienced garage door techs

What You Bring
-
Proven experience as a home services technician. 2+ years of residential or commercial garage door experience is a plus.

3–5 years of in-home quoting, upselling, and closing repair options

Ability to safely lift 80–100 lbs and work on ladders year-round

Comfort with tablets, dispatch software, and digital payments

Availability for rotating weekend and evening coverage

Must pass a drug screen and background check and have a clean driving record (required for company vehicle insurance)
