Core Personnel Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Controls / PLC Technician (L3) for a long-term automation project. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians with strong PLC troubleshooting and electrical controls experience.
Responsibilities

Lead electrical control debugging and implementation for automation equipment.

Guide L1/L2 technicians in control panel wiring, bus system setup, and commissioning.

Verify I/O signals and perform parameter configuration.

Diagnose and resolve PLC I/O and electrical control issues.

Debug equipment with 12+ axes and full production lines.

Identify and implement performance optimization improvements.

Troubleshoot complex electrical and automation-related issues.

Support process validation, startup, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in electrical controls and PLC troubleshooting.

Strong understanding of:

Electrical schematics

Control panels and bus systems

Industrial automation equipment

Servo motors and motion control systems

Experience commissioning and debugging complex automation equipment and production lines.
