Core Personnel Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Controls / PLC Technician (L3) to support a long-term industrial automation project. This role is ideal for highly skilled technicians with extensive experience in PLC troubleshooting, electrical controls, and production line commissioning.

⚠️ Mandarin Chinese fluency is REQUIRED for this position to effectively communicate with the client's engineering and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical controls debugging and implementation for advanced automation equipment.

• Provide guidance and technical support to L1/L2 technicians in:

  • Control panel wiring

  • Bus system setup

  • Equipment commissioning

• Verify I/O signals and perform parameter configuration.

• Diagnose and resolve PLC I/O and electrical control issues.

• Debug and commission equipment with 12+ axes and complete production lines.

• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and efficiency.

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and automation-related issues.

• Support equipment startup, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical controls and PLC troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • PLC systems

  • Electrical schematics

  • Control panels

  • Industrial bus systems

  • Industrial automation equipment

  • Servo motors and motion control systems

• Experience commissioning and debugging complex automation equipment and production lines.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (required).
