Scissor Lift Operator — Duties

- Operate scissor lifts safely and efficiently to access elevated work areas.
- Perform daily pre-use inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues.
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
- Position and maneuver the lift safely around equipment, structures, and personnel.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to elevated work areas as required.
- Maintain proper awareness of overhead hazards, power lines, uneven surfaces, and nearby workers.
- Use required fall-protection equipment and other PPE.
- Assist with construction, installation, maintenance, warehouse, or facility projects.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Perform basic equipment checks and communicate maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Follow work instructions, schedules, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Complete required equipment inspection and operating documentation.
