Core Personnel Staffing is hiring two Safety Coordinators for a high-volume production and fulfillment facility in Plano, TX. This is a temporary assignment through the holiday peak season. If you have a keen eye for safety and a helpful, team-first attitude, we want to talk to you!
Assignment Details

Pay:$18.75/hr

Shifts: 2nd shift and 4th shift openings

Start date: November 2

End date: Around December 23

Training week (Nov 2–6): 8-hour days

After training: 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. You’ll work 3 days on and 4 off one week, then 4 on and 3 off the next.
What You’ll Do

Walk the production floor regularly to keep everyone safe.

Make sure associates are wearing the required PPE, and coach them respectfully when corrections are needed.

Keep emergency exits clear and spot slip, trip, and fall hazards.

Watch for forklift and pedestrian safety concerns.

Check for loose clothing around machinery.

Restock safety glasses and hearing protection stations.

Document safety issues and communicate them with management.
What We’re Looking For

A coach-first approach to safety: you help people get it right rather than policing them.

Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with associates and managers.

Ability to document issues clearly and accurately.

Ability to stay on your feet and walk the floor throughout a 12-hour shift.

Willingness to follow the site’s dress code, including clothing, footwear, hair, and piercing standards.

Availability for the full assignment, including the rotating schedule.

Safety, warehouse, or production experience is a plus.
