Description: Job Title: Retouching (Retus) Department Specialist Job Summary The Retouching (Retus) Department Specialist is responsible for enhancing, correcting, and preparing images for final production. This role ensures all visuals meet company quality standards, brand guidelines, and client requirements before publication or printing. Key Responsibilities Edit and retouch images for color accuracy, lighting, sharpness, and composition Remove imperfections, background distractions, and unwanted elements Perform color correction and grading to match brand standards Prepare images for various outputs (web, social media, print, advertising) Ensure consistency across batches of images Work closely with photographers, designers, and marketing teams Meet daily production targets and deadlines Maintain organized file management and version control Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) Strong understanding of color theory and image composition Attention to detail and high quality standards Ability to work under tight deadlines Basic knowledge of printing specifications (DPI, color modes, file formats) Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Photography, or related field Experience in fashion, product, or commercial retouching Knowledge of advanced retouching techniques (frequency separation, masking, compositing) Working Conditions Office or studio-based environment May require extended hours during peak production periods
