Position Title: Reach Truck Operator
Job Summary:
The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating a stand-up reach truck to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse or distribution center. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the efficient flow of products throughout the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a stand-up reach truck safely and efficiently.
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
Put away inventory into designated rack locations.
Pull and transport products for shipping and production needs.
Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
Verify product quantities and locations to maintain inventory accuracy.
Follow all safety procedures, warehouse policies, and OSHA guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating a reach truck is required.
Ability to operate equipment at elevated heights safely and accurately.
Experience using RF scanners preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
Work Environment:
Warehouse or distribution center environment.
May involve working in varying temperatures.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
