1st Shift
Monday – Thursday
4:00 AM – 2:30 PM

2nd Shift
Monday – Thursday
3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Position Summary

Core Personnel Staffing Services is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician I to join a growing manufacturing team in Grand Prairie, TX. This position is responsible for inspecting products throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring quality standards are met, documenting inspection results, and working closely with multiple departments to resolve quality concerns.

The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing or quality assurance experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and product specifications.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections throughout various stages of the manufacturing process.

  • Perform mechanical, dimensional, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications.

  • Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records in internal databases and quality management systems.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and product specifications.

  • Verify product identification and traceability throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Communicate quality concerns and inspection findings with production, purchasing, supervisors, and other departments to ensure timely resolution.

  • Maintain accurate documentation using Microsoft Office and company software.

  • Follow all quality standards, safety procedures, housekeeping requirements, and company policies.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.

  • Previous Quality Assurance experience preferred.

  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment is a plus.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows applications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Positive attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
