We are seeking a high-level Quality Assurance Manager for a premier food manufacturing leader specializing in high-quality frozen food products. This is a critical leadership role reporting directly to the CEO , offering the autonomy to shape the site’s quality culture and the visibility to impact global company strategy.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Audit Leadership: Spearhead all regulatory ( FDA/USDA ), customer, and 3rd party audits ( SQF ), ensuring the highest level of compliance.

  • Frozen Food Expertise: Oversee critical control points specific to frozen manufacturing, including micro-testing programs, temperature monitoring, and high-speed production troubleshooting.

  • System Innovation: Maintain and evolve SQF documentation, verification, and validation activities to stay ahead of industry standards.

  • Technical Partnership: Act as a "boots on the ground"partner to Operations, Procurement, and Warehousing to solve real-time production challenges.

  • Product Science & ERP: Manage formula creation, nutritional analysis, and specification writing within the Microsoft Dynamics AX (ERP) system.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise all Quality personnel and oversee facility-wide sanitation and microbiological testing programs.

Qualifications (The "Must-Haves"):

  • Experience: 6–8 years of QA leadership specifically within Food Manufacturing (Experience with frozen foods, prepared meals, or temperature-sensitive products is highly preferred).

  • Certifications: Active SQF Practitioner and HACCP Certification are strictly required.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar ERP systems) and strong mathematical skills for formula management and waste trending.

  • Communication: Bilingual ( English/Spanish ) is a significant plus.

  • Mindset: A "Floor-First"leader who thrives on the production floor and engages effectively with the workforce.
