Core Personnel Staffing is partnering with an established packaging manufacturer in Conroe, TX to find a hands-on, bilingual Production Manager. If you know how to run a production floor, develop people, and hit your numbers without sacrificing safety or quality, this is a role where you'll have real ownership and a direct line to plant leadership.
What You'll Do

Lead daily production operations to meet output, schedule, and quality goals

Build and prioritize production schedules based on customer demand and available resources

Partner with the Plant Manager, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to keep materials moving and downtime low

Supervise, train, and develop production employees, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management

Track and improve KPIs such as efficiency, labor utilization, downtime, and scrap
-
Identify production issues and drive solutions that reduce waste and improve throughput

Enforce safety procedures, SOPs, and company policies on the floor

Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications

Maintain accurate production records and report daily results to management

Champion a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
-
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

3+ years of production or manufacturing management/supervisory experience

Background in packaging, lumber, converting, or a related industry strongly preferred

Proven track record leading production teams

Strong knowledge of production scheduling, quality control, and workplace safety

Experience working with production KPIs and performance metrics

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Flexibility to work a variable schedule and respond to production needs as they arise
