Job Position: Production Associates- 1st shift
Location: Northlake, TX 76262
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr
Shift: MON-FRI 6AM-3:30 OR Finish
Description: Position Summary
The Production Associate supports daily manufacturing operations within a coffee processing and packaging facility. This role is responsible for equipment operation, product handling, quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment to ensure consistent production flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment such as grinders, roasters, fillers, sealers, and labeling machines.
- Monitor roasting, grinding, and packaging processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform routine quality checks on beans, grounds, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Load raw materials (green coffee beans, packaging film, labels, etc.) into machines as needed.
- Inspect products for defects and remove any items that do not meet quality standards.
- Palletize, wrap, and stage finished goods for storage or shipment.
- Maintain accurate production logs, counts, and documentation.
- Assist with equipment changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and plant sanitation guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and communicate any production issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, food production, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working around heat, machinery, and fast‑paced production lines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
Work Environment
- Coffee roasting and grinding environment with exposure to heat, aromas, and machinery.
- Fast‑paced production floor requiring PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
- Shift schedules may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on production needs.
