Job Position: Press Brake Set Up Operator

Description: Key Responsibilities: 1. Machine Setup & Operation Read blueprints and job orders. Select/install proper tooling (dies, punches, etc.). Set machine parameters (bend angle, tonnage, etc.). Perform dry runs and make real-time adjustments during production. 2. Quality Control Use tools like calipers and micrometers to inspect parts. Document specifications and report quality issues. 3. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE. Report hazards or machine malfunctions. 4. Collaboration Work with engineers and team members to ensure efficient production. Train junior operators as needed. 5. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance. Work with maintenance team for more serious issues. 6. Workplace Organization Follow 5S and TPM practices to maintain a clean and efficient work area. Skills & Qualifications: Experience in press brake machine setup and operation (min. 6 months). Proficient in blueprint reading and measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic math and mechanical aptitude. Physical Requirements: Stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs. Work in hot/cold environments, noisy areas, and near machinery. Wear appropriate PPE.
