Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Precast Concrete Finisher & Patcher to join our precast manufacturing warehouse. In this role, you will repair, patch, finish, and re-enforce heavy concrete products brought into the shop—including reinforced concrete pipes (RCP), box culverts, sanitary manholes, and specialized water structures.
Key Responsibilities
Patching & Finishing: Repair surface defects, cracks, spalls, and honeycomb voids on precast concrete pipes, box culverts, sanitary manholes, and water management structures.
Rebar & Reinforcement: Work with rebar cages, wire mesh, and steel reinforcement prior to or during repair work to ensure structural integrity.
Surface Preparation: Chip, grind, scrape, and clean damaged concrete areas using power tools, grinders, and hand floats before applying patch mortar.
Quality Inspection: Inspect incoming precast structures for structural damage or cosmetic flaws and ensure finished products meet exact specifications.
Yard & Shop Maintenance: Assist with staging heavy products in the shop and outdoor yard area while keeping work areas clean and safe.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Proven hands-on experience in concrete patching, finishing, and basic rebar/steel reinforcement handling.
Work Environment: Ability to work inside an industrial warehouse environment and in outdoor yard staging areas under varying weather conditions.
Physical Demands: Heavy physical work required—must be able to lift to 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, climb on structures, and stand for long shifts.
Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to guarantee daily punctuality.
Schedule Availability: Able to work full 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Mon–Fri) and required overtime on Saturdays.
