Core Personnel has proudly partnered with a global, cutting-edge technology manufacturing and logistics pioneer to immediately hire a high-caliber EHS Engineer .

In this role, you won't just monitor safety—you will actively own, implement, and scale the facility's safety, occupational health, and environmental management systems. Reporting directly to the EHS Coordinator, you will lead continuous improvement projects, coordinate global compliance standards, and mentor facility staff to solidify a zero-accident workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope:

As an EHS Engineer, you will serve as a strategic technical leader ensuring the manufacturing plant aligns seamlessly with local, national, and international standards. Your core duties include:

  • ISO System Ownership: Lead the implementation, maintenance, and rigorous auditing of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) systems.

  • Risk & Hazard Mitigation: Proactively identify operational risks, perform systematic workplace hazard evaluations, and design sustainable engineering or procedural control measures.

  • Audit & Compliance Management: Coordinate both internal and external plant audit processes, evaluate waste management protocols, monitor emissions, and oversee regulatory compliance programs.

  • Incident Investigation: Spearhead thorough root-cause investigations for any work-related incidents, generate analytical reports for senior leadership, and implement swift, permanent corrective actions.

  • Culture & Education: Develop, roll out, and conduct advanced training programs to strengthen a proactive culture of prevention, regulatory compliance, and eco-sustainability across all plant departments.

Authorized Executive Powers:

To ensure zero compromise on safety, this engineering role is granted the explicit authority to:

  • Stop Unsafe Operations: Immediately halt any manufacturing processes, machine lines, or worker activities deemed imminently hazardous or non-compliant.

  • Recommend Sanctions: Recommend disciplinary actions or regulatory sanctions for facility personnel who systematically violate safety and environmental protocols.

  • Strategic Advisory: Advise senior management directly on program status, propose corporate policy changes, and request resource/budget allocations for safety initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a closely related technical field.

  • Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of dedicated EHS management experience operating directly within a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing or production plant environment .

  • System Expertise: Proven hands-on track record of successfully implementing, maintaining, and auditing industrial management systems under the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 frameworks.

  • Framework Familiarity: Prior exposure or specialized training in global frameworks such as QMS quality systems, RBA work ethics, 5S methodologies, ESD protocols, or industrial compliance (RoHS, C-TPAT, Cybersecurity/DFARS) is highly desirable.

  • Core Competencies: Stellar leadership capability, robust problem-solving skills, sharp critical thinking, and the adaptive capacity to pivot alongside evolving environmental and industrial legislation.
