Maintenance Worker – Hospitality (Katy, TX)

Pay: $13.00- 14.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time (Day Shift)

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Worker for a busy hotel property in the Katy area. If you are a "jack-of-all-trades"who enjoys fixing things and keeping a property looking its best, this is the perfect role for you!

Primary Responsibilities:

• General Repair: Handle basic plumbing (clogged toilets/faucets), electrical (changing bulbs/outlets), and mechanical repairs.

• Room Maintenance: Perform "touch-up"tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and fixing furniture or cabinet hardware.

• Property Care: Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure everything is in working order.

• Outdoor Maintenance: Assist with basic pool cleaning and ensuring the parking lot and walkways are clear of debris.

• Customer Service: Respond to guest maintenance calls quickly and with a professional, helpful attitude.

Requirements:

• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in general maintenance, apartment make-ready, or construction.

• Skills: Must be comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools.

• Reliability: Strong attendance is a must; our guests rely on you!

• Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
