Maintenance Mechanic (2nd Shift)
Location: Sealy, TX 77474
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $25.00 / hour
Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Job Summary
Core Personnel Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a top-tier manufacturing and building materials facility in Sealy, TX .
In this role, you will be responsible for the care, preventive maintenance, and continuous operation of production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems. We are seeking a reliable technician who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and prioritizes workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities

Equipment Care & Repair: Perform routine, preventive, and emergency repairs on production machinery, processing systems, and packaging equipment.

Technical Documentation: Read, analyze, and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to troubleshoot machinery effectively.

Tool & Equipment Operation: Safely utilize a variety of manual hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment to complete repairs.

Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including mandatory Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and wearing required PPE at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED required (or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience).

Technical Skills: Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals.

Physical Demands: Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift 25–50 lbs.

Screening & Exams: Must be able to pass a Hazmat exam, pre-employment drug screen, and background check (Safety-Sensitive Position).
