Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
Start Time: 6:00 AM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Viking Nailing Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial machinery or possess strong mechanical aptitude. This role involves operating and monitoring a Viking pallet nailing machine to ensure quality production while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the Viking pallet nailing machine safely and efficiently.
Set up, adjust, and maintain machine settings for production runs.
Inspect finished pallets to ensure they meet quality standards.
Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major repairs to maintenance personnel.
Load materials into the machine and remove completed products.
Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work with the production team to meet daily output goals.
Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude or previous machine operation experience is required.
Experience operating Viking pallet nailing machines is preferred but not required.
Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
