We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual Machinist to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manual machining and hands-on experience in the valve industry, including working with components such as stems and wedges.
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role
Proven experience operating manual mills and manual lathes
Valve industry experience required (stems, wedges, and related components)
Strong understanding of machining techniques and material properties
Ability to work with tight tolerances and precision measurements
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual machining equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Machine parts to exact specifications and tolerances
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
