Job Position: Landscaper / Grounds Maintenance Technician
Location: Plano, TX 75074
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Description: Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscaper / Grounds Maintenance Technician to help maintain the appearance, safety, and overall upkeep of our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general property upkeep. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and may also assist with indoor building maintenance tasks as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Mow, edge, fertilize, and maintain lawns to ensure healthy and attractive grounds
Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscape features
Perform planting, pruning, trimming, and general landscape maintenance
Operate landscaping equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently
Assist with tree care, including trimming and pruning
Perform general property and building maintenance tasks as assigned
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist with seasonal property maintenance as needed
Qualifications
Previous landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge of lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance practices
Experience operating landscaping equipment and tools safely
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Requirements
Valid Texas Driver's License
Clean driving record
Current auto insurance
Ability to drive company vehicles between locations
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive physical tasks
Reliable transportation and attendance
Schedule & Compensation
Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
