Job Position: Inventory Control Clerk

Location: Terrell, TX 75160

Pay Rate: $19.75/hr

Shift:Sunday-Thursday 9pm-5:30am

Description:Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within a temperature-

controlled warehouse environment. Duties include conducting regular cycle counts, verifying stock levels, and

reconciling inventory discrepancies using warehouse management systems and manual records.

This role involves the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment, often in refrigerated or

freezer conditions. The specialist ensures all inventory processes follow established protocols for accuracy,

efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

 Perform routine and scheduled cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy

 Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

 Update inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)

 Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely in a cold storage environment

 Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and stocking teams to maintain accurate stock levels

 Maintain clean and organized storage areas

 Adhere to safety procedures and cold storage handling requirements

 Any task assign by leadership

Qualifications & Requirements:

 High school diploma or GED

 Minimum of 1 year of inventory control experience in a warehouse setting

 Forklift certification and operational experience

 Ability to work in cold storage conditions (including freezer and refrigerated areas)

 Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software or WMS

 Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
