Ink Parts Washer

📅 A Shift – Day Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday

Job Summary

A flexible packaging manufacturing company is looking for an Ink Parts Washer to support the Press Department. This position is responsible for cleaning and preparing ink-related press components to ensure equipment is ready for production.

Responsibilities

• Clean ink trays, pumps, hoses, chambers, doctor blades, and other press parts.

• Operate parts-washing equipment safely and properly.

• Remove ink, residue, and buildup from production equipment.

• Assist Press Operators with cleaning and equipment changeovers.

• Follow all safety procedures when handling inks, cleaning solutions, and chemicals.

• Wear required PPE at all times.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Properly dispose of waste and used cleaning materials.

• Report damaged equipment or safety concerns to the supervisor.

• Follow company attendance, safety, and production standards.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, printing, or production experience preferred.

• Ink or flexographic printing experience is a plus.

• Ability to work a 12-hour shift.

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.

• Must be dependable and maintain good attendance.

• Must be comfortable working around inks, cleaning solutions, and industrial equipment.

Work Environment

Fast-paced flexible packaging manufacturing facility. The position may involve exposure to ink, cleaning chemicals, production equipment, and varying temperatures. Required PPE and safety procedures must be followed.
