Job Position: HME Service Coordinator
Location: Tyler, TX 75703
Pay Rate: $16.00-$20.00 DOE
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
Description:
The HME Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the delivery, setup, and maintenance of home medical equipment for patients. This role ensures excellent customer service, accurate order processing, and compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations. This is an office position and the primary role is to ensure parts are ordered and tracked correctly.
Responsibilities:

Track equipment inventory, coordinate returns, and ensure timely repairs.

Collaborate with billing, clinical, and service teams to ensure smooth operations.

Handle customer concerns with professionalism and resolve service issues promptly.

Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, safety guidelines, and company policies.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Prior experience in medical equipment, healthcare, or customer service strongly preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and durable medical equipment is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical software systems.
