Job Position: Entry-Level Maintenance & Batch Plant Technician
Location: Houston, TX 77092
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
Shift: 1ST
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturdays as needed
Job Summary
We are looking for an Entry-Level Maintenance & Batch Plant Technician to assist with the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of equipment, facilities, and vehicles. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning and growing in an industrial maintenance environment.
Responsibilities
-Assist with preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs
-Troubleshoot equipment and identify causes of failures
-Maintain equipment, tools, facilities, and grounds
-Install and remove equipment and fixtures as needed
-Assist with maintenance of company vehicles and mobile equipment
-Use hand tools and basic shop equipment safely
Qualifications
-Basic knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines
-Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
-1+ year of maintenance experience preferred
-Welding experience preferred
-Ability to read basic blueprints is a plus
-Forklift training will be provided as needed
