Position Title: Machine Operator (Folder / Gluers)
Shift: Second Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Up to 6 days per week
Compensation: $16.00 / hour
Hours: 60 hours per week ( Mandatory Overtime )
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Placement
Position Purpose
The Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, feeding, and operation of folder/gluer production equipment. This role ensures the efficient flow of materials while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality control standards. This position requires high reliability and a commitment to working an extended-hour production schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Equipment Operation: Efficiently feed and operate automated folder/gluer machinery in accordance with production specifications.

Material Handling: Fold, package, and properly stage finished materials for distribution.

Quality Assurance: Monitor production flow and conduct regular quality inspections to minimize defects and waste.

Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to all established safety protocols.

Operational Support: Assist with general production and warehouse maintenance tasks as assigned by the shift supervisor.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

Lifting Requirements: Ability to continuously lift and move materials weighing 40–50 lbs throughout a 12-hour shift.

Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of the shift.

Environment: Ability to work in a mixed facility environment, which includes both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled zones (temperatures may vary and can be warm).

Dress Code and Safety Protocols

Attire: Professional work pants or jeans and standard short-sleeve shirts. Forbidden attire includes tank tops, shorts, crop tops, and garments featuring inappropriate graphics.

Safety Limitations: No jewelry may be worn on the production floor.

Footwear: Standard durable closed-toe footwear is required; steel-toe boots are not mandatory.
