Overview
We are seeking a motivated Bilingual Food Roller to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and another language, with a passion for food preparation and excellent customer service skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a quick service and fast food restaurant setting, contributing to the creation of delicious dishes while ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Prior experience in food handling, cashiering, or restaurant operations is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The position emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments
Manage cash handling accurately during transactions
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, including bussing tables and cleaning kitchen areas
Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist with food presentation, packaging, and portion control
Support team members with food prep during peak hours to ensure timely service
Uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and company policies
Experience
Previous experience in food industry roles such as food preparation, cashiering, or serving is preferred
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Experience working in quick service & fast food restaurants or cafés is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation practices, and basic math skills for cash handling and retail math
Bilingual proficiency in English and another language to effectively communicate with diverse customers
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
Background in retail math or grocery store operations is beneficial for handling transactions accurately
