Job Position: Quality Assurance

Location: Garland, TX 75041

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr

Job Responsibilities:

 Monitor product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing

process.

 Responsible for monitoring, and programing critical control points (CCP).

 Sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other areas

required.

 Record and file all relevant record logs and documentation.

 Ensure the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.

 Verify employees are following all food safety and worker safety practices.

 Educate and enable employees around food safety and SQF standards.

 Collect product samples for product development, lab retains, and the

laboratory.

 Perform inspections on products, equipment and machinery.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum 1 year of experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment is required.

· At least 1 year of Quality Control experience in an advanced role is required

· Knowledge of GMP, Food Safety and SQF product quality standards.

· HACCP Certification is strongly preferred.

· Previous experience in Supplier Quality Assurance and Food Supply Chains.

· Good communication/interpersonal/training and coaching skills.

· Comfortable working proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to work some weekends on an as-needed basis required.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required.

· Strong Attention to Detail and Organization Skills

· Minimum HS Diploma or equivalent is required.

Schedule:

 8-hour shift until hired, potential 12 hours after hired.

 Monday to Friday weekend as need it.

 1st and 2 nd Shift

 Weekend availability

Education:

 High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

 Minimum 1 - 3 Years Manufacturing Required

 Candidates with another QA experience can be and option.
